It looks like Ford has followed Dodge's steps to bring back factory-backed race cars back into production with the unveiling of the Cobra Jet drag package. For $69,000 dollars you can order your very own NHRA-legal drag car that is certified to run 10's in the quarter mile. Weighing in at 3300 pounds and being powered by a 400 horsepower supercharged 5.4 L V8 mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox, we have no doubts as to the performance of this beast. All 50 of the first run CJ's have been ordered by dealers already but Ford says they will make more so if you still want one, you have a chance yet. Enjoy.
