In honor of the Steve McQueen movie that became a cult classic, Ford has rolled out a Bullitt edition Mustang for 2008, which Ford calls it the most balanced Mustang to date. The 4.6 L V8 pumps out 315 horsepower and 325 pound feet of torque, making anyone feel like they could catch the bad guys in a black Charger. Ford even went so far as to use a digitally remastered DVD to exactly match the exhaust note from the '68 Fastback in the film. Ford also introduced a Dark Highland Green, the same as in the film, for the new Mustang. With production set at 7,700 units, we bet these will sell like hot cakes, especially with an MSRP of just over $31,000. Whoever gets one of these cars will love slamming through the Tremtec 5-speed and coming closer to that 151 mph top end.
