The Porsche GT2 means serious business. Look at that rear wing. Did you know that the previous generation GT2 was nicknamed "Widowmaker"? It earned this nickname because of the high horsepower rating, rear engine placement, and finicky grip; this combination was enough to send many owners to their grave due to some crazy lift oversteer. Will this generation's GT2 earn the same reputation? Lets look at the numbers.
It's powered by a 3.5L twin turbo flat 6 engine (sitting past the rear axle) thats been rated at an astounding 525 horsepower and 540 ft-lb of torque. It certainly has engine placement and power output covered. It can run to 60 MPH a little slower than the 911 turbo's time of 3.4 seconds because of its lack of all wheel drive.
Does it have the same bite as the previous generations? Maybe. I've never driven one but I'm sure that there is a video floating around WebridesTV somewhere that can answer this question.
