DESCRIPTION:
The BMW 750Li receives a refresh for MY 2009 which is comprised of some minor exterior styling changes as well as minor drivetrain tweaks. This full sized ultra luxury sedan starts at $80,000 and is powered by a 4.8L Double VANOS V8 engine rated at 360 HP to the rear wheels. The 7 series has always been marketed as the vehicle for those that deserve to have a driver (ie: REALLY RICH FOLK) but want to drive around under their own power. It's the limo for those that love to drive!
Historically, flagship model cars are always used as a "testbed" for the newest technologies. Both BMW and Mercedes Benz both follow this mantra so this year's 7 series will have all the new gadgets you could hope for. Besides the Xenon Adaptive Headlights (that will trace the direction of travel), it features night vision to really maximize safety and confidence while driving after dusk. With all the luxury marques offering parking assistance, BMW of course will do the same and implement a system that will indicate the distance to the objects in the front and back of the car, avoiding costly taps while parking.
