DESCRIPTION:
The sporty Impreza gets the diesel treatment for 2009 with Subaru's new 2.0 L Boxer engine that is 2.4 inches shorter than the comparable gas engine due to shorter spacing between cylinders. The 150 horsepower 4 cylinder also makes 258 pound feet of torque that comes in a 1800 rpm, perfect for making the little car scoot along. We can't complain about this powerplant as it gets around 41 mpg. +1 Subaru.
