Gallery: 2010 Porsche Boxster & Cayman
DESCRIPTION:
These pictuers are from Autoblog and they show the unveiling of the new Porsche Cayman and Boxster for MY2010. No one is really surprised that the exterior remains relatively similar to the previous version (it's Porsche tradition!) but they have made sure to include enough drivetrain upgrades to make this a tempting purchase.
Both models will have the option to be shipped with the Porsche PDK dual clutch transmission. Die hard manual transmission enthusiasts will still be able to get their regular manual gearbox. Both cars will now feature higher horsepower ratings than before (both cars produce around 25 to 30 mor hp and some more torque) as well as improved fuel economy thanks to the new direct injection engines.
PCCB brakes (which was previously only featured on the Carerra GT) are now options for these two models. Suspension has also been worked over to produce a car that supposedly handles even better. I've included press pictures from Porsche that show off the interior; I THINK they have changed the interior around a bit but I can't be sure since I've never owned a Porsche :(
