Gallery: Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Spyder
DESCRIPTION:
This is the newest in Lamborghini's stable - the Gallardo LP560-4 SPYDER. This gorgeous automobile is has the same drivetrain as the coupe: a 5.2L V10 with a 550HP output and an E-Gear transmission. I am not sure what type of roof that Lamborghini decided to use but I would guess that it is a folding softtop since they went against the trend and managed to produce a convertible with LESS weight than the coupe.
There have been a couple of minor exterior styling updates, as well as an LED lighting system. The interior looks plush as ever - every surface is covered either with suede or carbon fiber.
Performance figures for this car indicate 0-60MPH in 4.0 seconds and a top speed of 201MPH. They neglected to mention if this was with the top up or down. At first you'd think it could reach 200 with the top up (more aerodynamic) yet the Murcielago Spyder recommends you stay under 100MPH with the top up.
