DESCRIPTION:
The Pontiac G8 GXP is the latest high performance car from GM. It is a four door sedan and is the highest trim level of the G8. It uses the LS3 6.2L V8 engine (rated at 415HP and 415 ft-lb of torque) for power and this earns the car a 0-60MPH rating of 4.6 seconds and a quarter mile time of 13 seconds. Power is run through a TR6060 6 speed manual transmission or a 6L80 automatic, to a fully adjustable independent rear suspension. Four piston monobloc Brembo calipers are used in order to give this monster the stopping power that it deserves.
Enthusiasts may already know, but the Pontiac G8 is based off the Holden VE Commodore, so should GM become insolvent, owners should not have to worry about getting support for their new cars.
