DESCRIPTION:
Think is a Norwegian auto maker that has been designing all-electric cars for a few years now, and look for them to hit the States in the near future. Backed by U.S. venture capital firm RockPort Capital Partners, Think joins the likes of Aptera and to head all-electric car revolution. Roughly the size of a Prius, the Th!nk Ox has a range of around 150 miles per charge. Th!nk plans to release the car to the public in the US sometime in 2009. Revealed at the Geneva International Motor Show, the Ox boasts a 0 to 60 of about 8.5 seconds. An hour charge will have the Ox's battery at 80% capacity. The roof-mounted solar panels contribute to the car's electronic instruments including a navigation system and wireless internet connection in the hatchback model. The Ox is estimated to cost around $25,000.
