DESCRIPTION:
The 2008 Toyota Yaris is a subcompact, fun to drive car that won’t need frequent trips to the pump. The 3-door hatchback and 4-door sedan models have some of the wackiest commercials on TV. It stands at a meager 14 ½ feet long, but will have no problem getting you around town with ease and efficiency. The short length allows for easier handling, especially for parallel parking or jamming into those tight spots because the neighboring Hummer was parked in a compact spot. The small call requires a small 1.5L 106 horsepower engine and either a 4-speed automatic or 5-speed manual transmission. You’ll be able to drive free of guilt with the EPA estimated 29/36 miles per gallon. The simply designed interior was designed to cut costs and utilizes poor quality plastic and other materials. Toyota is also offering a Yaris Sport model, which rocks body-color bumpers and sick rocker panels. The lame seats are swapped for sports seats and the steering wheel and shifter get a layer of leather. The 15-inch wheels, rear defroster, rear wiper, and mp3-compatible audio system are also upgrades in the Yaris Sport. Starting at $11,300, the Yaris is the ideal budget car. It’s built with Toyota’s legendary quality and it’s easy at the pump. While it’s not as fun to drive as a Volkswagen Golf, it’s a lot less stressful to finance.
