no problem, they have this problem at the higher speeds... so not usually a problem, but you never want to take a chance...

To your question of what are hood pins for? At high speeds the hoods flutter and can flip up, so the hood pins hold them down... but since I have an all new hood, I am waiting for the paint to cure and then will attach twistlock hood pins instead of the cotter pin style...
