About Pacific Rim Drift Team
In 2003, Team Pacific Rim fielded a 1989 Nissan 240SX with driver, Daijiro Yoshihara at the helm for the first organized drift events in the United States. Sponsored and owned by Pacific Rim, the leading designer, manufacturer and retailer of import racing themed apparel, Team Pacific Rim competed in most of 2003's drift events including the prestigious, inaugural D1 Grand Prix held in Irwindale, CA. The upcoming year brings new excitement, as well as new challenges for the team, as the United States will see the first organized full points series drift competitions. Team Pacific Rim will compete in these competitions as well as demonstrations across the country.
