This 2006 Bentley Continental GT is hiding something. What it's hiding is almost 100 hp over its stock 552 horsepower thanks to the installation of a GIAC chip. GIAC Performance Software is the leader in Flash loader software for Audi, Bentley, Mini, BMW, Porsche, and Volkswagen. They have been working on these applications for over 15 years and have been labeled as the highest quality performance software. Their program differs from normal tuners because they have full recalibration for all driving conditions.
We spent the day with this luxury 2+2 at Willow Springs Raceway and found it to be fast, refined, and worth every penny. Sell your house, Buy a Continental GT, they are quite the investment. We found the rear seats a little small, and would only recommend them on a long trip if kids were to occupy them. This was our only real complaint at WebridesTV. It actually got pretty decent mileage, around 19mpg, which isn’t too bad considering it’s enormous and has a freaking 6 liter twin turbo W12 guzzling fuel under the hood.
Being the first VW released Bentley, I am sure they wanted to prove that they could hold true to the Bentley name. Powered by a twin turbocharged version of the 6.0 liter W12 engine that was made popular in the Volkswagen Phaeton, this beast is already ridiculously fast to start with. That combined with all wheel drive seems like this thing might actually be a track whore more than a luxury sedan. Well, its not, its 100% luxury at the cost of handling. It was designed to be comfortable, but it was also designed to be incredibly fast. The grand touring luxury coupe feels like it was carved from stone with its heavy duty construction and its detailed interior. Well, weighing in at 5,320 pounds, it might as well be carved out of stone. The Continental GT is in high demand amongst the stars in Hollywood and the heap of VIPs. Needless to say, it is quite a bargain at $160,000.
