he shifted into 4th about 2000 rpms to low so he had to build his boost back up

Damn, that Rx-7 can move! Are you sure those numbers are right? Why is it so much faster? Weight?

the weight and gearing of the FD3S is the deciding factor. rx7's have a notoriously nasty top end!
