Video: Aston Martin DBS Review
DESCRIPTION:
This is an episode of Autocar, where host Chris Harris will take the new Aston Martin DBS for a spin.
First thing up for examination is the looks. Does it have enough of a different exterior styling to justify the additional cost of 48,000 pound difference with the "vanilla" DB9.
The DBS features exterior panels made of carbon fiber and aluminum, such as the roof, door, and fenders - there is almost no steel used in the construction of this car. However, the host is not quite sure if it looks different enough from the DB9.
It also features massive carbon ceramic brakes all around, which supposedly gives the best braking power and feel possible.
It is finally time to take the DBS onto the road as Chris pushes in the electronic key and starts up the V12 engine. Check out the rest of the video for his commentary on the spirited drive through the city.
