Video: BMW 135i VS Porsche Cayman Part 1of2 - Fifth Gear
DESCRIPTION:
Fifth Gear is going to test the performance of the new BMW 135i and the Porsche cayman. Their reasoning for comparing these two seemingly different cars is because the two cars are supposedly targeted at a younger crowd that likes to drive. They will conduct a series of tests on the two car to find out which is the really the best. First up is a slalom.
The Porsche is powered by a 2.7 liter flat six engine, the BMW has a 3.0 liter V6 with twin turbos. This gives the Porsche the disadvantage in the power department, but lets see if the famous Porsche handling will be enough to make up the difference!
The next challenge is a drifting competition that let each car take three turns to make the most impressive drift that it can. While the Cayman does not have a limited slip differential, Tiff still tries to pull off a good drift. Up next is the BMW 325i which theoretically has an advantage again due to its limited slip differential.
