According to Wikipedia:
“The Los Angeles Auto Show is an annual auto show that takes place at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, California. The show has been held annually since 1907. The first show took place at Morley's Skating Rink in downtown Los Angeles, just four blocks from the current Convention Center location.
The show traditionally took place in early January, but in 2006 was moved to November so as not to be overshadowed by the North American International Auto Show. That year, one show was held in January and another in November, the latter being dubbed the "100 Year Anniversary" show. The Los Angeles show is only the second International Auto Show in the United States to be officially recognized by the Organisation Internationale des Constructeurs d'Automobiles, with the first recognized show in November 2006. With a special spot on the international calendar, it is likely that the LA show will become host to more vehicle introductions than before.”
The BMW hydrogen 7 is a touted to be an environmental car that you would actually want to own and drive. Definitely a tall order as environmental cars that we have seen like the Toyota Prius have made the words “environmental” and “fun” farther and farther from each other. The BMW Hydrogen 7 is a car that sports an internal combustion engine. The difference is the fact that this internal combustion engine runs off of hydrogen. Yes hydrogen the same fuel that caused the Hindenburg disaster will soon be running your car but it isn’t the mistreated volatile substance that it once was. This 6 liter engines emissions are nothing but steam when running off of hydrogen. The trick of this car is the fact that it can run off of hydrogen or gasoline. The only way you can tell if the car is running off hydrogen or gas is if you were to listen to it between the two. Hydrogen has a higher combustion then gasoline and thus altering the sound of the engine running.
