Cars and Coffee moved from Crystal Cove in Corona Del Mar, California to the Ford Design Center in Irvine to accommodate the overwhelming number of cars and car lovers. Check out all the exotics, hot rods, vintage European, and muscle cars as they co-mingle at Southern California’s favorite Sunday auto orgy.
Today we cover a 1970 Plymouth Superbird 440 Six Pack and a 1959 Cadillac Series 62 at the Cars and Coffee meet in Irvine California.
Be sure to check out part II of Cars and Coffee because we profile a brand new 2007 Porsche GT3 RS 997, 2006 Ford New GT, and 2006 Lamborghini Murcielago Convertible. The GT3 RS is a race inspired new release based on the original GT3 RSR from back in the day. It is the perfect Porsche for the die hard enthusiast. It was produced by Porsche to be a full blown race car that would be street legal and competitive on the track. This thing can jump to 60 in under 4 seconds and has a top speed of 187 mph. Another blast from the past was there, with the Ford GT40. This super car was inspired by the original Ford GT40 that was known for beating Ferrari back in the day. This new version sure looks like it can beat a Ferrari with a top speed of 205 mph and 550 horsepower! Last but not least we talked to Jason and took a look at his Sweet Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster. This V12 fire breathing monster is sure to turn heads no matter where you are.
These amazing racecar inspired production vehicles can be seen absorbing the morning sun every Sunday at the Ford Design Center in Irvine, CA. We will let you know when we get these three up to the track to see who’s the exotic king of cars and coffee and who needs just a little bit more caffeine.
