This video was taken live from Waterfest 2007. Waterfest is the biggest VW and Audi Auto Show in North America. The show is a two day event that takes place in Englishtown, New Jersey. Close 20,000 people showed up to the event this year, including over 2,500 participants at the show.
There's areas for show cars, 1/4 mile drag racing, autocross, sound off's, tire burn-out contests, autocross school and an exhibition area for people to showcase their rides.
If you're a gearhead with a car from VAG (Volkswagen Auto Group), then you know the likes HPA, Neuspeed, APR, and many of the other aftermarket tuners that offer some of the best parts for your Volkswagen or Audi.
In this video, Marcel Horn, the owner of HPA Motorsports, shows us their Mk IV R32. This R32 is loaded with a big brake kit, all wheel drive, 3.2 liter, 6 speed manual and a turbo package. HPA debuted their new intake manifold on this car, the CVP (Calibrated Velocity Port). Which is designed to work as a replacement for the OEM outfit for a supercharged or turbocharged engine. And it really makes it look like you've got a big piece of eqiupment when you look under the hood.
The rest of the show was a blast, we saw a variety of cars modified like Audi TT's, Audi S4's, A4's, A6's, A8's, VW Beetles and Bugs from the 1960's to present loaded with everything from air bags to 15" subs. The show was awesome. And we'll be back again soon.
